Master These 3 Habits to Get and Stay in Shape Forever
Most people tend to overcomplicate fat loss.
Yes, it can be challenging.
But it’s made more challenging when you overwhelm yourself into inaction by taking on too much.
In my 10+ years as a coach working with 500+ clients, I’ve identified 3 key habits my most successful clients share…
1) Strength training at least 2x/week
Studies have shown that you can effectively lose weight and improve body composition with a lot less training than people think.
If you constantly hit the Minimum Effective Dose of exercise, you will see progress.
Not only that, because you’re not overstressing your body…
You’ll have more energy, drop fat faster, sleep like a baby, and feel like a million bucks every day.
2) Planning
Plan out a majority of your meals for the week.
Pick one day and cook up a week’s worth of bulk meals.
Each meal should have a quality source of protein, carbs, and fats.
Make more food for dinner, and use the leftovers for lunch the next day.
In less than an hour per week, you can set yourself up for success and consistency every day.
An ounce of planning and prep is worth pounds of progress.
3) Create routines that support a high-performing body and mind.
Consciously create daily routines that give you energy:
Set a consistent sleep pattern, get sunlight, have a few key meals you eat for breakfast and lunch, and plan your workouts into your schedule.
Don’t make things harder on yourself by making 13-ingredient meals, depriving yourself of sleep, and winging it with training.
Focus on doing things that save you time, reduce stress, give you energy, and make your body feel good.
Staying consistent will be much easier that way.
